Lesbian Pride Puerto Vallarta
Puerto Vallarta, the top LGBTQ+ vacation destination in Mexico, hosts Pride yearly in May the week leading up to Memorial Day Weekend in the U.S. That week Puerto Vallarta welcomes travelers from all over the world making it an international event to look forward to. Although for many years there’s been more presence for men during Vallarta Pride the women have been increasing their visibility. The question every year has been where are the women? Here we are!
Puerto Vallarta Lesbian Pride actually started in 2014 and expanded this year to add vacation packages, national and international Djs as well as talent. Our intention is to continue to create more visibility for LGBTQ+ women during PV Pride through excursions and events. Our main host hotel is the Oceanfront All Inclusive Hilton Riviera Puerto Vallarta in Hotel Zone South which has a beautiful beach, ocean view rooms, multiple pools and restaurants, gym, spa, plus much more! Our events will be taking place across Old Town Vallarta by the gayborhood Zona Romantica from May 22-29, 2023. The agenda is filled with activities and events so there’s something for everyone! We have ziplining through Canopy River, Volleyball leisure games in Playa Camarones, Pride After Parties, a Mexican cooking class, speed dating etc. The best part is that majority of the excursions are led by lesbian businesses in Puerto Vallarta so we are giving back to the community! Elixir Mixology Bar, Vallarta Local Food Tours , and Oculto all lesbian owned venues, bars, and tour operator will be part of our Puerto Vallarta Lesbian Pride this upcoming year! Simultaneously, as we host our LGBTQ+ women’s events for pride which will be the best parties for women in Vallarta, Vallarta Pride will have a parade that we will be a part of which will be taking place tentatively on May 25, 2023. It starts in front of the Sheraton Buganvilias in the evening around 6PM and ends in Romantic Zone where people spread out and go to all the different nightclubs and bars to keep celebrating. Don’t forget to meet us at CJ BBQ the old El Torito in Romantic Zone for our parade after party!
